Over time, inconsistencies can arise between a property’s title and how the land has been occupied or used. These discrepancies may stem from historical surveying methods, informal boundary occupation or changes made long before modern standards were in place. Left unresolved, they can create uncertainty, limit development potential and complicate property transactions.

Title amendment application surveys provide a formal pathway to correct these issues. Conducted by Licensed Land Surveyors, these surveys establish accurate boundary evidence and support applications made to Land Registry to amend or clarify title ownership. The process requires detailed investigation, precise fieldwork and carefully prepared documentation that meets strict statutory requirements.
